Welcome to the AEW Rampage Database!
This database aims to make it easier to find the matches of the 373 wrestlers who appeared on AEW Rampage (2021-2024). Individual pages for each wrestler include links to YouTube clips of their matches and win-loss records on AEW Rampage. This project follows the publication of the AEW Dark Database, which covers both AEW Dark and AEW Dark: Elevation. The AEW Rampage Database is a passion project stemming from an interest in a wrestling promotion’s secondary or tertiary programs. It is hoped that the database makes it easy to quickly find your favorite performer’s matches and discover hidden gems throughout its run.

When AEW Rampage launched on Friday August 13, 2021, it was designed as a one-hour companion to the AEW’s Wednesday night flagship program, Dynamite. This second weekly show provided additional storytelling opportunities, showcased a wider range of talent, and expanded the AEW’s growing brand. From the outset, Rampage was positioned as a must-watch show for fans.
The debut episode delivered. The first match saw Christian Cage defeating Kenny Omega for the Impact World Championship, setting the tone that anything could happen. But it was the second episode, known as “The First Dance,” that was a major moment in company history: CM Punk returned to professional wrestling after a seven-year absence. Standing in the center of Chicago’s United Center on August 20, 2021, CM Punk’s opening promo helped Rampage achieve over 1 million viewers—a major milestone for the new program. Throughout its run from August 2021 to December 2024, AEW Rampage served multiple purposes. It was a platform for emerging stars (e.g., Jade Cargill, the Acclaimed, Willow Nightingale) as much as a space for big moments (e.g. numerous title matches, Great Muta’s appearance with Sting, the Royal Rampage matches, parking lot brawls). There were opportunities to feature Japanese and Mexican talent from NJPW, AAA, and CMLL, opening the door for much-anticipated crossovers (e.g., Rocky Romero versus Mistico). Established stars like Bryan Danielson, the Young Bucks, the Lucha Bros, and Jon Moxley added to their resume of championship bouts and dream matchups.

Rampage’s viewership fluctuated over time (see above graph, with data drawn from Fightful). One can see significant peaks in viewership for the moments created in the first few episodes and then gradual decline over time, especially after the introduction of Collision in June 2023. For its first two years, Rampage played an essential role in AEW’s television growth as the second successful weekly program, and it kept storylines moving with special episodes and new match types. Most importantly, Rampage was the stage for AEW mainstays, in the midst of growing and diversifying roster, to perform in front of a national television audience.
